It's a Beautiful Day

I'ts a beautiful day here in Norfolk. I'm sitting here at work watching some old men enjoy the sunshine and lovely Fall weather and I envy them terribly. It's in the mid 70's today and Yacht club looks so pretty with the boats floating on the water. What a great day to be kept inside stringing rackets and answering phone calls!

So, I haven't blogged in awhile and honestly, I haven't stepped on the scale since my last blog! Judging by the way my shorts feel today, I don't think I've lost anymore weight... but I don't think I gained any weight either. And how could I expect to after I tell you about my activities over past few weeks! I told Emma the other day that I think I need to give up my blog because my diet is a failure. She told me I should just blog about my life instead. So I'm taking her advice!

Last weekend, I went up to Richmond to visit my friend Janet and our friend Peter who took the dreadful summer anatomy class with me this summer. We spent Saturday night barhopping in Richmond. After I had a grilled cheese for dinner, I proceeded to have one too many beers and few too many cranberry vodka's. I don't even want to think about how many calories that was. I woke up the next morning feeling fabulous, even took a lovely morning after picture to prove it!

I spent this week taking it easy, relatively speaking, we didn't have any exams this week so I only had a few writing and reading assignments today. I spent the week doing those homework assignments, working out a few times and working here at the tennis shop.

Yesterday morning, I decided I wanted to become a vegetarian.... hoping that it might make my diet more healthy and help me to lose some weight. So, yesterday I had no meat at all. Enjoyed a veggie wrap for lunch and a spinach and cheese quesadilla for dinner. My asian lover took me thru a workout yesterday afternoon, and today I can barely walk. I told him I needed to work my inner thigh because I didn't want any chub rub. The other day in class we were talking about wound healing and they showed is this picture of a wound in between some lady's legs. She got it from chaffing! There is no way I want a wound from my legs rubbing together, so I told him that we needed to get these thunder thighs under control.

Last night I also managed to do one of the stupidest things ever... I was trying to go to the hardware store with one my friends. The parking lot was dark but the store lights were still on so we thought we'd just check to see if the store was open. We never got to check because as I was turning into the parking lot, I got stopped by a long black chain that was covering the parking lot entrance. Long story short, neither myself or I saw the chain blocking the entrance because it was black and the parking lot was dark! The chain left scratches going all the way up my hood! This is just my luck. After this happened I was in a little bit of a bad mood, so I chugged 4 beers with my classmates and then went to play in our softball play off game.
Needless to say, I only got to bat once and it was pop fly. We lost.

That should catch ya'll up for now! I'm going home this weekend for my daddy's big 50, should be fun!
See you all soon!

Love,
Kristi

P.S. I forgot to mention that I ate a turkey sandwich for lunch today so my vegetarianism only lasted 24 hours. Oh well.
