Hi Friends!
So today marks day one of my diet/ workout plan to lose AT LEAST 10 lbs before Emma's wedding. The countdown is currently at 53 days! This means I have approximately 7 weeks to lose 10 lbs. This is totally doable. According to all my exercise science classes, healthy weight loss should be anywhere between 0.5-2lb weight loss per week.
This weekend I was trying on clothing in NYC and thinking to myself, "hmmmm this shirt is a little tighter than I'd like." I also put on an old pair of jeans and was a little alarmed at how much tighter they were fitting. Then finally, when my mom tried on a pair of jeggings at forever 21 and looked WAY better in them than I would, I made this pledge!
I knew this was going to be a tough change but I think it's necessary. I mean, I'm stripping down into shorts and a sports bra every day in class so that should be motivation enough there right? Too bad there aren't any good looking guys in my class or else I would have started this diet thing a long time ago.
I texted Emma & Kala yesterday for the official count down to the wedding so I could plan appropriately.
So this series of blogs will be a compilation of my diet and workout triumphs and woes. Hopefully, it will help to keep me on track and also maybe entertain you guys as well!
Todays weigh in put me at (dont judge) 152 pounds!
This weight is what I was at about 2 years ago when I went on Nutrisystem... When I was on nutrisystem I lost 14 pounds. This means that I have successfully gained back any weight that I lost 2 years ago. Well done me.
So far this is how my eating schedule has gone today...
Breakfast... Dannon Light & Fit w/ granola 250 kcal
Cereal Bar 120 kcal
Lunch..... Spinach salad w/ fat-free balsamic vinagrette.... No idea how many cals but I hope not that many
Turkey Sandwich.... Between the two pieces of bread, cheese, and mayo i'm estimating about 400 kcal here
One serving of apple cinnamon rice cakes.... 60 kcal
The rest of the day will be a different story, but I'll update you on that later!
I miss you guys tons and can't wait to see you soon! (Hopefully by that time I will be 10lbs lighter!)

For 1...you dont look like you weight 152! I weigh 156, so its like 16 lbs since i went anorexic at my breakup :) now u make me want to do this too! i love your updates! cant wait to see you at the wedding!
